CTH A will be closed between 6:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to replace a culvert between CTH PB and Observatory Road. The work require the road to be closed to all traffic on Tuesday, May 30th while the culvert is out and open should be open again at the end of the day. Finishing work will occur on Wednesday, May 31st so there may be temporary closures as the asphalt patch is constructed but emergency vehicles will be able to get through.
Status Update: May 22 – May 26, 2017
STH 69 closed to through traffic on Monday, May 22.
Tree removals will begin on Tuesday, May 23 along with breaking the concrete pavement.
Pavement removal north of the bridge will begin later in the week and will continue into next week.

STH 69 work is scheduled from May 22, 2017 – August 31, 2017 and the road will remain closed to through traffic during this time frame. Access to local properties and businesses will be maintained at all times throughout construction. Work for this project will include concrete pavement removal, common excavation, water main and storm sewer installation, concrete bridge repairs, new asphalt pavement, curb and gutter removal and replacement, new guardrail, pavement marking, and other incidental items needed to complete the work.
Appraisers Will Be Out to Assess Properties
Bruce Gardiner will be out on June 3, 2017 to meet with Town of Montrose land owners who have appointments set up for appraising their property. On June 7th and 8th Bruce Gardiner and Bob Bauchman will be assessing other Town of Montrose properties. Spring Primary will be held on February 21, 2017. The polls open at 7:00 p.m. and close at 8:00 p.m. The polling location is Montrose Town Hall, 1341 Diane Avenue, Belleville. A sample ballot can be viewed under the Elections tab or at the Town Hall.
There will be no service delay after Christmas or New Year’s, as they both fall on a Sunday this year. All routes will run on their normal day during the weeks of 12/26-12/30 and 1/2-1/6.
