Absentee voting

Now would be a good time to double check on your absentee voting application.  The easiest way is to look yourself up on myvote.wi.gov.  If you have no application on file for the upcoming elections this year (August 11 partisan primary; November 3 presidential), you can go ahead and apply there. Many people who voted absentee in April requested absentee ballots only for that election, and may be unaware that they may need to submit another application for the rest of the elections this year.

Paper applications are also available at the town hall.  There is a supply on the main door, so if you have a friend or neighbor who is not at ease with the online process, you can swing by the town hall and pick up a application.   Any questions at all, call or text the town hall (608-424-3848) or email the clerk at montrose@chorus.net.  We hope to continue our record of excellent voter turnout it Montrose!
