Annual Meeting – Reminder

The Annual Meeting is being held as usual this year – on the 3rd Tuesday, at the Town Hall, at 7 p.m.  No refreshments will be provided.  

We will be meeting on April 20, 2021, at 7 p.m., in the main, and repaired, main hall of the Town Hall.


Election results – Spring Election April 2021

Yesterday, April 6, 2021, we had a 38% turnout for the election (833 registered voters; 320 participating voters).

Results were:

 

State Superintendent of Schools:  Underly: 225    Kerr:  85

All judicial races were uncontested with the incumbents winning.  Br. 2: Reynolds;  Br. 6: Trammell;  Br. 7:  White;   Br. 9:  Frost;  Br. 10:  Colas;  Br. 12:  Taylor;  Br. 13:  Genovese; Br. 17, Conway.

County Executive:  Nicholson:  84     Parisi:  218

All town offices were uncontested with the incumbents winning.  Chair, Roger Hodel; Supervisors, Randy Francois and Dan Palmer; Constable, Jack Everson.

Belleville School Board:  Johann: 118    Monroe: 105    Fahey:  100    Keyes:  90

New Glarus School Board:  Zimmerman: 1  Oimichen: 1  No votes for any other candidate

Oregon School District:  Area 1 –  Lokuta: 4    King: 1     Area 3 – Pankratz: 4  Heisler: 1

Verona Area School District:  Portion 1, uncontested, Christensen elected.  At large:  Murphy: 31  Williams: 30  Jahnke: 28  Vafadari:  21  Porco: 18  Stanley: 10

New Glarus School District Referendum:  Yes: 1    No:  0

in the Town of Montrose the following polling place will be used for the wards indicated:

 

Wards 1 and 2: 1341 Diane Avenue, Belleville WI 53508

 

THE POLLING PLACE WILL OPEN AT 7:00 A.M. AND WILL CLOSE AT 8:00 P.M.
