Wisconsin Elections Commission will be mailing out Notice of Suspension of Registration postcards June 12th – June 16th. These are mailed to voters who have not voted in any election in the previous four years. Voters have until July 15th to respond to the postcard. While compiling these detailed results, the DNR discovered errors in survey data included in the E-Cycle Wisconsin 2016 report. An updated version, with revisions to the “Disposal ban awareness and compliance” section, is also available on our website. This workshop will be focused on site-level requirements and best management practices for drop-off sites and events that collect electronics and universal waste. If you collect or recycle electronics, oversee an electronics collection program, or represent a municipality contracting for e-cycling services, we encourage you to attend. The information will also be useful to anyone wanting to understand the rules and best management practices for collecting electronics and universal waste (such as lamps and batteries). The workshop will provide an update on the E-Cycle Wisconsin program and information to help you find reputable recyclers to manage your electronics responsibly. We have reached capacity for our meeting room, but have a webinar option via Skype. County Highway A Closure
CTH A will be closed between 6:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to replace a culvert between CTH PB and Observatory Road. The work require the road to be closed to all traffic on Tuesday, May 30th while the culvert is out and open should be open again at the end of the day. Finishing work will occur on Wednesday, May 31st so there may be temporary closures as the asphalt patch is constructed but emergency vehicles will be able to get through.
Highway 69 Construction in Village of Belleville
Status Update: May 22 – May 26, 2017
STH 69 closed to through traffic on Monday, May 22.
Tree removals will begin on Tuesday, May 23 along with breaking the concrete pavement.
Pavement removal north of the bridge will begin later in the week and will continue into next week.
Details:
STH 69 work is scheduled from May 22, 2017 – August 31, 2017 and the road will remain closed to through traffic during this time frame. Access to local properties and businesses will be maintained at all times throughout construction. Work for this project will include concrete pavement removal, common excavation, water main and storm sewer installation, concrete bridge repairs, new asphalt pavement, curb and gutter removal and replacement, new guardrail, pavement marking, and other incidental items needed to complete the work.

Public Meeting for WIS 69 Reconstruction

Spring Primary
Spring Primary will be held on February 21, 2017. The polls open at 7:00 p.m. and close at 8:00 p.m. The polling location is Montrose Town Hall, 1341 Diane Avenue, Belleville. A sample ballot can be viewed under the Elections tab or at the Town Hall.
No delay in trash & recycling pick-up after Christmas or New Year’s
There will be no service delay after Christmas or New Year’s, as they both fall on a Sunday this year. All routes will run on their normal day during the weeks of 12/26-12/30 and 1/2-1/6.
