No Trash & Recycling Pick-up on Memorial Day

 

We will be closed on Monday, May 30th in observance of Memorial Day.

Residents will be serviced one day later than their normal service day during the week of May 30th to June 3rd.

Residents normally serviced on Friday will be serviced on Saturday, June 4th.

Since collection routes may be serviced differently, your pick-up time may be altered. As always, please make sure to have your carts out by the time designated by your community (click here for more information).

Placing your trash in bags prior to putting them in your cart helps to cut down on wind-blown litter and allows for easier clean-up and disinfecting if carts tip over. For recyclables, use only see-through plastic bags. (Recyclable items placed in black bags will not be recycled. See our website for more details about contamination.)

STH 69 Construction Project Update 5/13/22

The weather was very warm this week, it was nice and dry to allow for some construction work to really start occurring!

 CTH PB at STH 69 in Paoli with close completely on May 31st.  Message boards will be placed on May 24th for advanced warning. The detour is posted. Work will begin to build the new roundabout.

 Construction Update for STH 69 and the upcoming weeks:

  • Existing topsoil is being stripped off.
  • Grading operations are occurring and will continue over the next several months as the contractors build the new roadway core.
  • Installation of new drainage culvert pipes continues
  • Utility work continues south of Paoli to Belleville

 STH 69 is closed to thru traffic.  Access is allowed for residents and businesses have an origin or destination on the project. It is highly suggested to use your closest access to STH 69 to get to a driveway. Large trucks need to use appropriate truck routes. The lanes are narrow as crews work on and through the existing roadbed. Please slow down, and the construction crew has the right-of-way.

 A signed detour route is posted and follows WIS 92, WIS 78 and US 18/151.
