The following instructions must be followed precisely for a reliable test. You must test your water the morning of Wednesday, August 29th and return the sample to Montrose Town Hall between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. on August 29th. The sample is only viable for a short time. As of 8/24/18 WE Energies is working to restore gas service to the Frenchtown Road area. The gas line is across the Sugar River south of the bridge located at the east end of Frenchtown Rd and the intersection of Frenchtown Rd and Moorehead Rd.
Dane County Emergency Management has submitted preliminary costs to State of Wisconsin to see if the state will qualify for Federal assistance.

Free Water Testing kits will be available for pick up at Montrose Town Hall, 1341 Diane Avenue, Belleville WI 53508 on Monday August 27th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Kits will have full instructions

Public Health Madison Dane County recommends NOT pumping holding tanks dry. If the ground is saturated and the holding tank is empty it could shift positions. If the tank shifts or pops out of the ground, contact a licensed professional plumber.
If well has been contaminated it must be cleaned and inspected by licensed professional plumbers.
To be eligible for Federal Assistance (if available) you must precisely document the incident (written & photos), keep all copies of contracts, receipts etc. and only licensed professionals can do the work.
