Engineering and engineering technician scholarship opportunity – apply online by November 7, 2019

The Town was notified that the Wisconsin Asphalt Paving Association (WAPA) has two engineering scholarships available, with online applications due by November 7, 2019. One is for study of engineering in college, the other for study of engineering technician certification in technical college.  More information is available at http://www.wispave.org/wapa-scholarships/.  


No Land Use Committee meeting in September, 2019

As no applications have been received this month, there will be no Land Use Committee meeting in September, 2019.  The next scheduled meeting is on October 28, 2019, with any applications to be submitted by October 14, 2019.


Open Book and Board of Review – 2019

Open Book will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 between 3 and 5 p.m.  Board of Review will be a week later, on Wednesday, September 25, 2019, between 6 and 8 p.m.  If you have any issues you want to raise, the assessor would be happy to discuss them with you and answer any questions informally before these events.  Our assessor is Bruce Gardiner, and you can reach him at Gardiner Appraisal Service, 608-943-8009. 

 

 

 

 

 

 


No Land Use Committee meeting in August

No applications requiring the consideration of the Land Use Committee (LUC) have been received as of August 12, 2019.  Accordingly, the August 26, 2019 meeting of the LUC is cancelled.


Belleville Fun Run and Bike Race – August 10

On August 10, 2019, in conjunction with the Belleville Community Picnic, there will be a fun run and bike race starting at Sugar River Park at 8:00 a.m.  The course map is attached.  Additional information can be obtained from Gary Ziegler at bigzig@charter.net


Brooklyn Wildlife Trail Race on August 24, 2019

On August 24th the Arbor Rock Running club will be having a race from about 5 in the morning until about 1 in the afternoon.  Maps of the race route and the parking plan are attached – the congestion is expected to be in the area of Frenchtown Road.  Additional information is available from the race director, Stephen Streicker, at arborrockrunning@gmail.com, or at the website www.arborrockrunning.com.
