Absentee voting in 2021

There are two elections coming up this year.  The first is on February 16th – we have primaries for the Superintendent of Public Instruction, and for the Belleville and Oregon School Boards.  If you wish to vote absentee, you need to apply for an absentee ballot; last year’s applications, except for indefinitely confined voters, do not carry over.  If you already have your ID on file, the process is very simple – just go to myvote.wi.gov and apply.  If your ID is not on file, the only complication is that you need to upload a copy of your Wisconsin ID or driver’s license.

In person absentee voting will start on February 2, with the normal hours as at the 2020 elections – no appointment necessary if you can come in between 10 a.m. and noon, or between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.  Otherwise, call, text or e-mail for an appointment.  608-424-3848; montrose@chorus.net
